Homemade Bacon Salt

  • 500g/1 pound of your favorite bacon__a-bacon-salt-3-1
  • 1.5 tablespoons good quality sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground black pepper


  1. Preheat over to 350 degrees F
  2. Place a rack on top of a baking tray and line with foil to minimize cleaning
  3. Cook bacon in the oven for 15-20 minutes
  4. Place the cooked bacon on paper towels to absorb excess fat and cool
  5. Place the bacon, salt, and pepper in a food processor and blitz until fine
  6. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for use
