The Case for Breakfast
The sweet smell of bacon is easily one of the greatest things to wake up to in the morning. Your anticipation for its savory taste can lift you from the actual deepest slumbers. You could argue that breakfast meals offer the highest variety of bacon dishes. Use the Breakfast-Stuffed Soft Pretzel as an example. Our friend Molly at Yes to Yolks threw down on this delicacy, and we literally can’t imagine waking up without it.
The Case for Lunch
The most underrated meal of the day, serving it up the bacon way. Don’t risk missing this hearty meal that’ll energize you through the rest of afternoon. The best part about lunch is that it’s great for meal prep and leftovers during the week. One of our personal favorite leftover snacks is pizza. It’s definitely hard to think of a better food to eat the day after than pizza. But guess what’s even better? A Pizza with Roasted Brussels, Bacon, & Roasted Garlic Cream, of course. Indulge yourself; swimsuit season is over.
The Case for Dinner
Dinner is that hallowed time of the day to refuel the body with protein and the soul with crispy happiness. And dinner might provide the most creative bacon dishes out there. One of our favorites is the Bacon Cheeseburger Taco. This hybrid cuisine is the perfect way to end the day.
In conclusion, we can’t decide which meal of the day is best suited for bacon. If this were a multiple-choice question (which we just made it), our answer would definitely be “All of the above.” Let us know your favorite time of the day to eat bacon in the comments below.
